2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 240 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 4 trips to carry that many people.

  1. Hi Chad, have you any info on Lane full size cedar chests? I have been researching one handed down through my family. It has the Lane Standard Altavista, VA logo burned in the upper inside of lid and STYLE NO. 48300 (only) inked on bottom. It measures approx 46″ wide, 20″ H (with wheels) and 19″ deep. The story goes my grandmother bought it as a hope chest before she was married. She was born in 1900, I believe Lane started making cedar chests in 1912 and she was married in 1925. So I’m thinking she would have bought this between 1918 and 1924.

  2. Ed,
I’m sorry, I don’t know anything about the full size chests. However, my friend at the Facebook page found by searching “Antique Lane Cedar Chests” in Facebook may be able to assist you. She has cataloged hundreds of different variations and I am hopeful she can help you. Good luck!
