Two posts in one day…it’s been awhile since that has happened!
On the e-bay today there is a box for sale with the original cardboard insert still enclosed…
As you can see, this is a later-era Short box probably from the 1980’s or later but this is just a guess. I haven’t seen this insert before. Lane used many different inserts over the many decades of the Girl Graduate Plan and this is just one of them. Notice the message is a hint to “another graduation gift” which is a coupon or certificate for a reduction in price for a full sized Lane cedar chest.
This piece of history would be nice to add to my collection but the photo will have to do given the e-bay price.
